CVISN Benefit-Cost Analysis

Role: Lead Analyst
While at Charles River Associates, I developed a custom Excel/VBA-based tool to estimate the financial impacts of the implementation of electronic credentialing for commercial trucks based on a number of user inputs. This was done as part of a benefit-cost analysis of nationwide Commercial Vehicle Information Systems and Networks (CVISN) deployment for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. My additional responsibilities included authoring the documentation for the Excel-based tool, leading research to increase the project team’s familiarity with specific CVISN systems, and playing a significant role in writing CRA’s portion of the final report.
